Together Let's Care for your Mental Health

“You’re not alone with your mental health. We’re here to help you.”

This is the clear message from NHS 24, Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance service. A new campaign brings the three organisations together to support mental health and wellbeing for people across Scotland in time for World Mental Health Day on Saturday 10 October 2020.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of a range of mental health information and services that support mental health. It’s been developed between NHS 24, Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance service as part of their joint response to the Scottish Government Mental Health Strategy 2017-2027.

Over the past 18 months, the three organisations have been working together to develop new ways to support people in mental health distress when they contact their services.

Under the banner 'Together Let's Care for your Mental Health' all three partners are now able to signpost to a range of digital guides. Users will be able to use self-help techniques and supported to decide what next steps they should take.

Options for further support such as Breathing Space and the Mental Health Hub on 111 are included. Printed resources are being widely shared through partners in the public and third sectors.

Further information and resources for support can be found here.
