Sometimes people face challenges that make it harder for them to apply to college and to learn new skills once they get here.
These may be due to a health problem, a sensory impairment, a mobility issue, a mental health issue or a specific difficulty such as dyslexia or dyspraxia.
We have a dedicated team of people who are here to help. So if you think you have a problem that will make applying more difficult for you, let us know. The sooner you tell us the more we are able to help.
We welcome applications from all people regardless of their circumstances so these sorts of challenges shouldn’t be a barrier to getting a place at college.
Once you get to college we have a range of support services that are here to help you with learning and also to provide advice and support where this is necessary. We will discuss any issues with you and will make adjustments or provide specific support to help you make a success of your course.
We are proud of the achievements of our students and are aware that the support that we provide will help you to have a better chance of success.
If you wish to contact us about a specific issue or for further information, advice and support, please contact the Student Advice Centre by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
