Berwickshire Housing Association (BHA) recently took advantage of their approved FWDF Phase 2 SME funding application and used it to upskill their staff in Excel Training - ranging from Basic to Advanced, as well as Office 365 and OneDrive.
Borders College Department of Enterprise and Business Innovation (DEBI) delivered the bespoke training and helped BHA secure the funding required.
A spokesperson from BHA said:
“The Flexible Workforce Development Phase 2 SME funding allowed us to have bespoke training fit to our needs which has been really helpful. With the sessions being delivered online, it was beneficial for us to have these recorded, allowing employees who couldn’t attend the training to watch the sessions later.”
Employees who attended the course also commented:
“The level 3 and 4 Excel courses were really good. I liked the trainer; he was lovely and very patient.”
“The Excel training was good, informative, easy to understand and decent paced most of the time. The trainer was articulate.”
Susan Rennie, Account Manager at Borders College, commented:
“We were delighted to have been able to assist BHA in accessing Flexible Workforce Development Phase 2 SME funding and providing them with bespoke training to suit their organisational needs.”
