Stobo Castle employees recently benefited from a number of online computing courses, delivered through Borders College Department of Enterprise and Business Innovation (DEBI).
Staff from the luxury hotel recently took part in Microsoft Word training in both level 1 and level 2 to upgrade and enhance their knowledge and skills of the software to bring into the workplace.
As a luxury destination Spa, Stobo Castle has a variety of working staff who all assist in maintaining a high-quality customer experience and, through the first-class delivery of training from the DEBI, staff can help implement this.
Benefitting from FWDF funding available through the College, the training courses have been delivered online to enhance candidates skills in editing, creating, customising and utilising shortcuts and enhancing work efficiently.
Stobo staff members have found the courses very enjoyable and look forward to working with the College on future FWDF-funded training initiatives.
Yvonne Cowan, Account Manager at Stobo, had the following to say:
“Borders College Accounts Manager Susan Rennie was extremely helpful during the application process, taking the time and providing us with a selection of courses and content for us to consider to match our training objectives. Her assistance with the application form made for a streamlined process for the funding to be in place for use.“
